AI cycling coaching for ambitious, time-constrained riders
Train seriously.
Live normally.
Rigid training plans work until work runs late, stress stays high, sleep suffers, fueling falls short or the week changes unexpectedly.
Soigneur is an AI cycling coach with concierge-level availability. It knows your goals, history, recovery and real-life constraints, applies proven coaching methods and continuously adjusts the path to your goal.
- Structured training without rigid weeks
- Unlimited coaching interaction
- Rides sync through intervals.icu
When the week does not cooperate
Plans are rigid. Your life is not.
Missed Tuesday. Poor sleep Wednesday. Travel Friday. A long ride you still want to protect on Saturday.
A static plan leaves you deciding what to move, skip or reduce. Soigneur weighs the trade-offs, updates the week and keeps the larger strategy coherent.
The whole training system
Training is more than the workouts.
Progress depends on more than the sessions in your calendar. Work stress, sleep, fueling, recovery, strength, consistency and the demands of everyday life all change what training you can absorb.
Soigneur keeps these factors connected, identifies what is actually limiting progress and adjusts the coaching strategy — not just the calendar.

Six factors, one coaching decision:
- Training
- Load, intensity, progression and the specificity your goal event demands.
- Recovery
- Sleep, fatigue and stress, and the ability to absorb the work.
- Fueling
- Whether nutrition supports the session, recovery and the larger goal.
- Strength
- The durability and resilience to keep training consistently.
- Real life
- Work, family, travel and the time that is genuinely available.
- Individual response
- What your own history shows works — and what repeatedly causes problems.
Coaching in action
When life changes,
the strategy changes with it.
One conversation, full context and a coherent plan update — without rebuilding the week yourself.

It weighs the trade-offs
A missed session, a poor night and travel land at once. Soigneur compares the alternatives instead of pushing everything to tomorrow.
It shortens, not skips
Thursday’s intervals are cut rather than cancelled — enough stimulus, without compromising Saturday.
The goal stays protected
The Saturday ride you care about is preserved, and the season strategy stays coherent.
The calendar updates itself
The week changes automatically, with the reasoning shown. No admin left for you.
A coach, not an optimizer
Proven coaching, continuously applied.
Soigneur does not try to invent a new theory of endurance training. It applies established coaching methods, practical judgment and current sports science to your situation — then stays available whenever circumstances change.
- Proven methods
- Periodization, progressive overload, specificity and the balance of training and recovery, applied pragmatically.
- Coaching judgment
- Knows when the numbers matter, when they mislead and when consistency beats a theoretically perfect session.
- Science kept current
- Established practice is updated as the evidence develops, without turning your season into an experiment.
- Always in your corner
- Available before and after every ride, remembering the strategy, every relevant decision and what has worked for you.

Durability is improving
Your late-ride power is decaying less than it did six weeks ago: a direct gain for your 100 km goal.
How Soigneur works
You connect and ride.
Soigneur keeps the week coherent.
Connect intervals.icu, say how you train, then ride. In the coach thread, talk in specifics — how the work felt, what the day cost you. That is what the calendar adjustments are made from.
- 01
Connect intervals.icu
Completed rides, wellness and sleep sync from there. If your Garmin already feeds Intervals, those rides arrive without a second link.
- 02
Say how you train
Goals, hours, constraints, and whether Soigneur should write this block, hold a season of blocks toward a goal, watch a plan you already follow, or coach with no plan.
- 03
Say how it actually went
The ride file is not the session. Tell Soigneur the messy parts — the last interval that fell apart, the hard week at work, the ride you need for your head. It keeps that, and uses it.
- 04
The calendar stays coherent
When Soigneur authors the plan, the week updates and sessions can push back to Intervals. When it does not, you still get the read and the advice.
Evidence, not autopilot
The numbers inform the decision.
They do not make it.
Soigneur reads training load, performance, recovery and your own feedback as evidence — then interprets them in the context of your goals, history and real life.
Coach read: Fitness is climbing while Fatigue holds steady — room to push a little harder this week.

FAQ
Questions before you start
How does Soigneur read my data?
Soigneur reads completed rides, wellness and sleep through intervals.icu (free). Connect it once in Settings. If your Garmin already sends rides there, those rides arrive without a second link. Soigneur does not connect to Garmin directly.
Does Soigneur write my plan, or can I keep the one I have?
You choose at the start. Soigneur can author the training, coach around a plan you already follow, or coach with no structured plan. In the last two cases, Soigneur does not overwrite or push over your existing plan.
When Soigneur authors, it can create one block of training, or a longer season: several blocks that add up to one goal. The next block builds on the outcomes of the previous block.
How do I talk to the coach?
The way you would talk to a normal coach. The more context you add, the better it gets. Describe the messy details, not a tidy summary. Soigneur already has the ride file. What it cannot see is how the work felt, how tough the day was, or what you need to squeeze into tomorrow.
That sounds like: “I could have blasted the first two intervals, then the last one suddenly got very hard.” Or: “I was close to bonking at 60 minutes, then recovered.” Or: “Hard days at work — I need a ride that takes my mind off things.”
Soigneur keeps that as context. Often, it can give you a meaningful response immediately. But the more context you add, the easier it gets to identify repeated patterns and adjust the plan accordingly.
Is it important to send wellness data?
It helps but it is not a gate. Sleep, resting heart rate, HRV and weight from Intervals give Soigneur a picture of recovery. The morning log is how it gets your subjective readiness: stress, soreness, motivation, illness, how the sleep actually felt. Soigneur can still coach from rides and conversation alone; but objective wellness data often avoids having to make a guesses to quantify a situation.
What data syncs on its own, and what do I need to tell Soigneur?
Rides, sleep and objective wellness sync after Intervals is connected. Goals, hours, travel, “protect Saturday”, and how a session felt are things you say. How to say them is the question above.
Do I need to talk to the coach every day?
No. You can talk to the coach whenever you feel like it. However, more frequent interactions maximize usefulness. An easy spin doesn’t require a detailed debrief. But a hard VO2 max session, an FTP assessment or otherwise challenging workout benefits a lot from a proper debrief. When you do talk, specifics beat a summary.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT about training?
ChatGPT answers from what it already knows and from a search it might run this time. Soigneur works from a curated, scientific coaching knowledge base it always has.
ChatGPT will draft a plan from one chat. Soigneur starts with a structured onboarding, then builds a training approach around your goal, your hours and your history — and holds that approach across weeks, not one session. Eventually Soigneur has a complete picture of your abilities and limitations, and can adjust the plan accordingly.
ChatGPT only knows what you paste in. Soigneur reads every ride and watches recovery alongside the plan, then adjusts from that.
ChatGPT can keep what still fits in the thread, and loses the rest as the conversation grows. Soigneur keeps a dedicated memory of the season, the open items, and what has and has not worked. More history makes Soigneur more coherent. More data in a chat makes the picture thinner, because the thread has to drop something.
How is my data kept private?
Soigneur keeps your coaching data as an electronic health record, on infrastructure built for that kind of record, hosted in Microsoft Azure data centres in the EU. Privacy and security were designed in from the start.
When a language model is used to coach you, the providers are contractually bound not to retain what they see, and not to train on it. Stored chat records stay with Soigneur, in your health record — not with the model providers.
What does private beta include?
